Recruiting the volunteers of the future

APROP’s community ambassador, Ana Femenia, was recently invited to talk to several groups of teenagers as part of the “Xarxa Jove de Pego” project which encourages them to volunteer. Being able to talk to young people about what being a volunteer at APROP involves and why taking care of animals is important is a great way to ensure that APROP’s work continues in the future with the next generation. It looks like they got some hands on experience too thanks to Ana’s four legged companion. Maybe this will result in some of them asking to volunteer at APROP at some point.
