Is Oscar Right for You?

Oscar is a very special elderly ginger gentleman, around 16 years old, who is looking for a quiet and loving home for his golden years.

He is incredibly friendly, affectionate and very talkative. He loves cuddles, attention and treats, and will happily keep you entertained with his stories! Since arriving at the shelter, he has gained weight and his coat has improved with regular care.

Oscar has some age-related health issues and his teeth are no longer the best, so he needs soft food only. We also suspect his kidneys are affected. Unfortunately, he is not well enough to undergo an anaesthetic, so his focus is simply on keeping him comfortable and happy.

Are You Right for Oscar?

Oscar needs a warm, peaceful home with someone who can give him plenty of love, attention and care. He is looking for a long-term foster home where he can enjoy his remaining years surrounded by the comfort and companionship he has been missing.

He would be suited to a home with mature children and can live with other cats. He has not been tested with dogs, so living with a dog may be possible depending on the individual dog and careful introductions.

Oscar is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He may be an old man, but he has an enormous amount of love to give and truly deserves a special person to call his own
