Hello, my name is Gari and this is a long post warning but I’m told ‘I’m worth it!’

I am a young boy, approx. 1 year old and whoever had to leave me in the outside kennel loved me as I am a very good boy and am well trained.

I walk fabulously on the lead, I sit when asked, I go to my bed when asked and my fosterers are very surprised, I stay there! All night! I am housetrained and really enjoy my first visit to the garden in the morning, it’s a relief 😊.

I get on very well with others dogs, big and small, and my fosterers are stunned that for such a big young boy I am very gentle. They say I have gentle bones and a gentle soul. I would like a brother or sister if possible. I love children and that would be super but I love all humans especially if they are around a lot, I like company. 

I am leaning to play still, I know what a ball is but not really sure what to do, my foster sister is helping me and I’ve mastered ‘tug of war’, we both love playing that and rolling on our backs together with all our legs in the air. Sometimes we get tangled up which is fun.

New things can take me by surprise and my foster humans are great at reassuring me. I really wasn’t sure about that black screen that comes alive and moves and even makes sounds, it has a lot of what they call ‘football’ but I’m getting used to it now.

I like going out for your coffee with you and I sit nicely by your chair or under your table, see I am a very good boy. I like going for my walks, I think I even like water but I haven’t been brave enough to go out too deep yet. Being so young, I also like my quite time, I like to nap, sometimes for quite a while. Don’t worry I still sleep all night!

If you would like to meet me my fosterers say you can come and visit me anytime you want.

My perfect forever home would have a garden, a bed for me indoors so I can sleep, lots of cuddles, being told how good I am when you teach me something new and people or someone special to be with. If you also have a dog already that would be my bone on top of my cake 😊
