News round up!

Another week at Aprop saw two new additions to the family with Matteo and Harri left in the outside shelter.

This meant a home exchange for some of our friends. We try to minimize as much as possible any disruption to the dogs lives but sometimes it cannot be helped. But with the upcoming transport of Estella to Scotland which will leave Cristina, the very nervous Podenco, alone in the big back space, we decided to move Conan and Diana to the back with them. This freed up their large kennel space for brother and sister Oso and Mazie.

Two more of our Mastin pups were officially adopted with one of them soon traveling to America for a new life. Our 2 remaining Mastin pups at the shelter have been getting some lead training as well as our old girl Daisy. She has begun her outside walks in the orange groves now she is a little more steady on her feet, an experience that she is taking much delight in. Our dog walkers are such an important part of our team here, giving the dogs an opportunity to forget the shelter for a short time and giving us more insight into the dogs behaviour.

The weekly vet visit saw both Mastin pups have their last vaccinations, Coco thankfully signed off the sick with the all clear for his eye and Estrella also cleared after her sterilisation operation.
