Hazel arrived at the shelter in January 2026 together with Enzo. We do not know if they are siblings, but they get along well together. We estimate her date of birth to be around July 2025.
When Hazel arrived at the shelter, she was very shy and nervous, but over the past few months she has come a long way and has really gained confidence. She is still a little nervous, so she would not do well in a home with young children, as she still needs time to get to know humans and feel at ease. Hazel needs stability and patience from her new family. She is a young lady who likes to play and has a lot of energy, so she would do best with a family who can dedicate time to her. Ideally, we would like her to be adopted together with her (presumed) brother Enzo, but if not then she would do best in a home with other felines.
As she still needs some work on her socialisation skills, we would offer Hazel initially on a foster basis together with Enzo, with a view to adoption. She has already come a long way and gained a lot of confidence, but the shelter is not the best place for her to thrive. She is a healthy and affectionate cat, who just needs to meet her special humans.
Hazel is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.
