Cat health

Please share me:

Due to their nature as stealthy hunters, cats have evolved to be very good at hiding early signs of illness and pain and often owners don’t notice their cat is unwell until it is very serious.

These articles provide information about some of the more common endemic illnesses that cats can suffer in Spain.

Please note that we are not qualified vets and this information has been gathered from a variety of different sources, which are referenced within the posts, as well as insight from personal experience.

If you want more specific information you should consult your local vet. We recommend that your cat is checked by a vet at least once per year and more frequently if you have any concerns.
